Our 2017 Merlot Reserve features a fruit-forward nose of black plums, cherry cola and cassis, complemented by a breeze-like freshness, purple floral notes, and aromas of anise pizzelles. Full-bodied with chalky tannins, the palate has strong expressions of blueberries, plums, and lavender, with underlying notes of baker’s chocolate, nutmeg, and a tobacco finish.
The nose of our first Petit Verdot showcases an abundance of dark fruit character, including notes of black plums, blackberries, currants and black cherries, framed by notes of slate and an underlying tartness. On the palate, subdued fruit flavors take a back seat to hints of cinnamon, cloves, and baking spices, while you enjoy the well tamed tannins and smoky finish.
A spicy, weighty nose of black pepper, nutmeg and graphite is complemented by underlying notes of chocolate-covered cherries and ripe strawberries. Subdued acidity and chalky tannins on the palate give way to an interesting mix of clove, under-ripe blackberries and raspberry tart.
Granny Smith Apples, lemon curd, pineapple, and warm vanilla leap out of the glass. The palate is full bodied with sweet citrus notes, butterscotch, green melon, and light oak toast. Glossy mouthfeel and a long lingering finish make this Chardonnay incredibly elegant and well balanced.
A complex nose of dark fruit including dried red plums and blackberry preserves intermingles with pronounced earthiness and notes of desert dust and pizza crust. On the palate, subdued flavors of mashed pluots and triple berry tart are supplanted by a diverse mix of black pepper, cinnamon sticks, and smooth river rock before culminating in a slightly smoky finish.
Jammy red and dark fruit aromas like black cherries, ripe prunes, and candied figs are complemented by spicy notes of green bell pepper and nutmeg on the nose. The mellow palate displays flavors of chocolate covered cherries and blackberry cobbler, leading to a peppery finish.
Filled with luscious dark fruit flavor on the nose, our Estate Syrah delivers aromas of blueberry compote, ripe blackberries, and milk chocolate, with undertones of spice and black peppercorn. Subdued acidity and fine-grained tannins highlight the palate that bursts with a mélange of dark cherries, blackberry, and oregano with a touch of smokiness and dark roasted coffee.
Aromas of blackberries, currants and fresh squeezed cherry juice combine with notes of grilled bell peppers, black licorice, and cracked white peppercorn on the nose. Sour cherry and tart cranberries on the palate are balanced out with softer notes of spiced plum pudding, and caramel and dark chocolate sundae. Plush tannins are showcased on the long finish.
